PB-300 Civil Shelters

PB-300 Civil Shelters are engineered as permanent, high-integrity reinforced-concrete protection systems designed for civilian safety, long-term occupancy, and critical resilience in modern threat environments. The system is based on 300 mm monolithic reinforced concrete (RC) structural elements and follows the engineering principles of Finnish civil shelter classification S1, ensuring robust protection against blast loads, structural shock, debris impact, and external overpressure.

All PB-300 Civil Shelter modules are constructed entirely from structural reinforced concrete, forming a gas-tight and chemically sealed enclosure. The system is equipped exclusively with blast-rated doors, hatches, and access shafts, engineered to maintain structural integrity and airtightness under extreme conditions. All penetrations, joints, and interfaces are designed to meet gas- and chemical-tight performance requirements, enabling integration with overpressure ventilation, NBC filtration systems, and independent life-support infrastructure.

The PB-300 architecture is modular by design, allowing shelters to be deployed as standalone core units or expanded into multi-room tunnel-connected configurations, including vertical shafts, lateral expansion tunnels, and multi-level layouts. This ensures adaptability for residential basements, private properties, critical facilities, and long-term civil protection use cases.
